At Converter, we strongly believe in data minimization. We only collect the bare minimum required to ensure the application functions smoothly across your devices. This includes your email address for account authentication and, at your discretion, a display name. When you explicitly create an account, we store your conversion history and your saved favorites securely.

2. Usage and Analytics

The data we collect is exclusively used to improve your personal experience. We use it to instantly synchronize your saved favorites, maintain a reliable log of your recent conversions, and occasionally communicate critical security updates.

3. Information Security

Your information is stored within highly secure, encrypted PostgreSQL databases. We enforce strict Row Level Security (RLS) policies at the database layer, mathematically ensuring that your conversion history and favorites are entirely inaccessible to anyone other than you.

4. User Rights and Deletion

Your data belongs to you. You maintain full, unhindered access to delete individual records from your history or favorites at any immediate time. Furthermore, you can permanently and irrevocably erase your entire account and all associated data from the "Account Deletion" section in your Dashboard Settings.

By accessing or utilizing Converter ("the Service"), you establish a binding agreement to adhere to these Terms of Service.

2. Provided License

We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the application strictly in accordance with these Terms. You may not decompile, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the underlying code and structure of the Service.

3. Accuracy of Output

Converter connects to robust databases and real-time APIs to provide highly accurate translations (including but not limited to global currency rates, physical measurements, and cryptographic conversions). However, you acknowledge that financial markets fluctuate and measurement standards occasionally vary by region. We cannot bear legal liability for financial or critical engineering decisions made purely based on the outputs generated. Please verify sensitive conversions independently.

4. Fair Usage and Availability

We strive for a 99.9% uptime, though we do not guarantee that the Service will be continuously available or entirely error-free. We reserve the absolute right to suspend, withdraw, or restrict availability of all or part of our Service for business, maintenance, or security reasons without immediate notice.
